The advice I would give to future interns are:
a. Always give your 100% on every task your mentors or any employees give you. It's pretty obvious when an intern does a task poorly and that would only make your mentor either not trust you enough to give you more tasks, or get mad at you and you have to face the consequences.
b. Get along with your mentor. It was really easy for me to get along with my mentor because she is awesome and really fun. Getting along with your mentor is important because it will make your internship better and have more of a fun job taste, if that makes sense.
c. Lighten up and have fun. Internship is an amazing experience, and joking around with your mentor or friend while doing it will make it even more fun. It's okay to joke around and have fun when the time is right, so don't be so uptight all the time. I'm not saying to treat your internship like a joke, but when the time is right, don't be afraid to have fun and enjoy your month off of school!
